McClory, Managing Director, Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC has received a Knighthood in the 2011 Honors list of individuals conferred by His Royal Highness Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy, Grand Master of the historic Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy. Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy is the son of the late King Umberto II of Italy. The Savoy Orders are ancient orders of knighthood which date back to the Crusades, have traditionally been devoted to charitable works, and recognize individuals for their contributions in public service, medicine, the arts, music, government, business and philanthropy. </p>

<p>The morning of Saturday, December 10, 2011, the representative of His Royal Highness presided over the installation and promotion ceremony of knights and dames in the Order of Merit of Savoy (OMS) and the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus (OSSML) at the main altar of the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in New York City. He conferred honors on 17 knights and dames, including McClory&#8217;s Knighthood in the OSSML, during the Investiture Mass in the famed Cathedral, in a memorable ceremony continuing a thousand year tradition of humanitarian service and philanthropy to aid the poor and sick (http://www.savoia.org). </p>

<p>McClory is an international investment banker whose corporate finance transactions have spanned the US, Europe, Asia and Africa. <p>The elegant Metropolitan Club in New York City provided the sumptuous surroundings for the 14th Ballo di Savoia (Savoy Ball), the annual white-tie charity gala ball, on Saturday evening December 10, 2011. The Ballo benefited the American Foundation of Savoy Orders&#8217; charitable and philanthropic initiatives.</p>

<p>The Ballo recreated the traditions and pageantry reminiscent of 19th century European court balls. Following a glittering reception in the main ballroom, dignitaries and guests, with gentlemen resplendent in tail coats and wearing colorful chivalric and military decorations and ladies in flowing ball gowns, descended the long marble staircases to strains of historic Savoy royal anthems and marches popular when Italy was a monarchy under the House of Savoy. </p>

<p>Among the numerous guests were: His Excellency Archbishop Francis Chullikatt, Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Representative of the Holy See to the United Nations; Mark Pigott, Chairman and CEO of PACCAR; Robert Greifeld, CEO of the NASDAQ-OMX Stock Market, Inc.; and former Congressman Frank Guarini. </p>

<p>The gala also recognized Cindy and Mark Pigott, who established the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarship Endowment in 2010 for students pursuing careers in the humanities and international studies.</p>

<p>The following day, prior to the Sunday Solemn Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, in a private ceremony, the Prince&#8217;s representative presented, on behalf of the Grand Master, Prince Victor Emmanuel of Savoy, the highest grade of the Savoy Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus, that of Knight Grand Cross, to His Excellency Most Reverend Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York. Following the presentation ceremony, the Knights and Dames of the Savoy Orders processed with the Archbishop in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick and he welcomed the members of the Savoy Orders from the altar during the cathedral ceremonies.</p>

<p>The American Delegation through its charitable arm, the American Foundation of Savoy Orders, contributes to humanitarian, hospitaller and charitable projects and initiatives across North America and abroad, particularly in healthcare and hospice care, disaster relief, education programs and children&#8217;s causes. Recent contributions have gone to Casita Maria, St. Jude&#8217;s Research Hospital, the New York Foundling Hospital, the Near East Catholic Welfare Association, the Latin Patriarchate&#8217;s University of Madaba Scholarships and the establishment of the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarships in the humanities and international studies.</p>

<p> With dark evenings and black ice on the roads, it is one of the most treacherous times of year for UK cyclists. And with more than a third (36%) revealing they have been knocked off their bicycles by cars, vans or lorries at least once while cycling on roads around the country, specialist bicycle insurer Protectyourbubble.com is warning cyclists to be extra cautious.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>According to a survey by Protectyourbubble.com, London has the most dangerous roads, with four out of ten (42%) Londoners saying they have been knocked off their bikes at least once, compared to 41% of cyclists living in the East Midlands, 37% in Scotland, 38% in the South West, 27% in East Anglia and a quarter (25%) of cyclists in Wales. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The survey also reveals that cyclists are not always the innocent party, with one in seven (14%) admitting they have damaged a vehicle while riding their bikes. More than twice as many 18-24 year old cyclists (18%) confessed to having damaged a vehicle while riding a bike, compared to cyclists aged 55 years and over (8%).</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>And it is not just vehicles that are in danger from UK cyclists, with 15% of those polled admitting they have hit pedestrians while riding – and women (17%) slightly more likely to hit pedestrians than men (13%), according to the survey results.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Interestingly, UK cyclists appear to be an impatient bunch, with almost one third (32%) admitting they have jumped red lights at pedestrian crossings, rather than waiting for the green.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Matt Reid, UK director, Protectyourbubble.com comments: </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“UK roads are dangerous places and cyclists need to ensure they are safe and prepared at all times, not least when darkness descends, the temperature plummets, and there is black ice and snow on the roads.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“However, it’s not just personal injury that cyclists need to think about. Collisions, even minor ones, can cause significant damage to a bike. We estimate that around 80% of cyclists on UK roads at any one time are not insured, which means if they are in a collision and their bikes are damaged, they could be facing huge bills to have them fixed or replaced.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“Considering that bikes can cost more than £1,000, it is worth considering taking out insurance, particularly for cyclists who really rely on them to travel to and from work every day.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“Public liability cover is too often overlooked, but it’s actually crucial. In the event that a cyclist damages a person, vehicle or property, public liability cover is there to absorb the cost of legal fees or repair work on a damaged vehicle, so the cyclist doesn&#8217;t have to pay out of his or her own pocket. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>&#8220;If you hit a pedestrian who then takes legal action as they cannot work due to their injuries, legal fees and compensation could stretch to hundreds of thousands of pounds, so it really does pay to have this type of protection. Specialist bicycle insurance costs as little at £1.99, so it won&#8217;t break the bank.&#8221;</p>

<p> The opening of the new Branson Airport and new Midfield Terminal at the Springfield-Branson National Airport isn’t the only new feature air travelers to Branson will be experiencing. According to Sharon Budnick, Manager of the Branson Travel Agency and twenty year veteran of the Branson travel industry, the real benefit to Branson’s air travelers will be something they have never experienced before, low cost airfares to and from Branson.</p>

<p>Sharon said during her career serving the needs of air travelers to Branson, the airfares to Branson’s closest airport, the Springfield-Branson National Airport, were extremely high. “In fact,” she said, “they were so high that people actually flew in and out of airports as far away as Tulsa, St. Louis and Kansas City rather than pay Springfield’s higher fares.”</p>

<p>“The combination of the new airport opening, the new terminal in Springfield, lower airfare prices and budget-friendly Branson entertainment has created quite the buzz for Branson vacations,” stated Sharon. Sharon says it is always smart to comparative shop for the lowest fares and always be prepared for possible delays and missed connections. </p>

<p>“Whatever option air travelers exercise when flying to Branson, whether it is through the Branson Airport or the Springfield-Branson National Airport,” she said, “they will be flying into a beautiful and functional new facility that is convenient to Branson.” The new $  150 million plus Branson Airport opened within two weeks of the Springfield-Branson National Airport opening its new $  117 Midfield Terminal in May of this year.</p>
